Childhood Reality
Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 August 2026 · Between you and David Ko, the developer of Childhood Reality (“we”, “us”).
1. The licence
Downloading Childhood Reality gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play it on devices you own or control, for as long as the store you got it from permits. The game is licensed, not sold: we keep ownership of it.
2. What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game or its files.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except exactly as far as local law says you may despite this clause.
- Reuse its artwork, music, characters, writing or other content outside the game without written permission.
- Remove or alter any notice of ownership in it.
3. Your saved games
Saves are stored on your own device and never sent anywhere, which is also the whole of our privacy policy. Keeping them is therefore up to your device: deleting the app deletes them, and we hold no copy and cannot restore one.
4. There is nothing to buy
The game contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising. Gold, equipment and skills exist only inside the story and have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for anything outside the game, and are not property.
5. Updates
We may release updates that change, add or remove features, and the store may install them for you depending on your settings. We are not obliged to keep releasing updates, or to keep the game available.
6. The game is provided as it is
Childhood Reality is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise it is free of faults or that it will run on every device.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the game, including lost saves or lost time. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — which, depending on where you live, may include liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under your consumer rights. Those rights apply in addition to these terms and are not affected by them.
8. The store you downloaded it from
Your download is also subject to the terms of Apple's App Store or Google Play. Neither Apple nor Google is a party to these terms, and neither of them has any obligation to provide support for the game — that is ours, and it is at the support page. Where Apple's App Store terms require it, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
9. Ending it
The licence ends if you break these terms, and it ends whenever you like, by deleting the game.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may change; the version on this page is the current one, and the date at the top says when it last moved. Continuing to play after a change means accepting it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the Taiwan Taipei District Court is the court of first instance for any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
